integrated therapies

I have been integrating my work with other therapists and medical professionals. Currently I am part of the team of therapists at Ayurway, Ayurvedic wellness center in India and the US. Thus, we may combine therapies and Ayurveda consultation directly with an international team of doctors.

Collaborating with other therapists, I also combine therapies like acupuncture with sound therapy, yoga classes with sound baths, massage therapy and sound therapy. In my practice of sound therapy, I have found that combining it with music therapy is very effective, specially when working with kids.

SOUND & MUSIC THERAPY

Sound travels about four times faster through water than it does through air. Since our bodies are about 70 percent water, sound becomes a first choice for a natural therapy.

I use Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks (brain tuners and body resonators), nature sounds, music instruments, voice, breath work, affirmations and mantras. These therapies have a natural connection with yoga, moving with and through sound, it is a journey of self-discovery, the healing is done by your own ability to surrender and allow health and positivity to take place.

The first session can take about 90min and starts with an evaluation and a preliminary plane for the treatment. The following sessions are 60min. All sessions are individual and includes aromatherapy.

SOUND BATHS

Individual or group sound bath, like sound therapy is a great way to reset the body and mind.

The sessions are 60min and include aromatherapy.

YOGA THERAPY

“The practice of Yoga in general aims to cultivate the body and mind and hence has the potential for therapeutic effects, in Yoga therapy we are using specific Yoga practices and their known benefits to help alleviate or improvement of mental and physical ailments.”

The sessions are personalized, evolving Yoga practice, that not only addresses the illness in a multi-dimensional manner, but also aims to alleviate suffering in a progressive, non-invasive and complementary manner. Depending upon the nature of the illness, Yoga therapy can not only be preventative or curative, but also serve as a means to manage the illness, or facilitate healing in a person at all levels.

Individual or small groups, the first session will start with an evaluation and diagnosis. All the following sessions are designed accordingly, possibly including a safe home practice.

YOGA CLASSES

In my own daily practice, I found that it is important to keep the freshness in building new routines as well as to be challenged, but most of all, have fun!   

The use of asanas, breath control, relaxation and concentration techniques is a self empowering process that can transform your body and mind by releasing stress, gaining health, strength, and intuitive self-knowledge.
